Growing up on Long Island, New York, cooking and music were two of Susan Palmer's biggest influences. After earning a degree in orchestral percussion, she pivoted back to the culinary arts in her early 20s. In 2011, she won a Brooklyn cookie competition and her cooking blog started gaining traction. It was then that she knew her hobby could become her career. Now, she has a booming business selling sweet treats she makes with a pastry assistant in her commercial kitchen in Brooklyn.

We don't take shortcuts with our process - as we grow we are still making everything handmade. We could move to machines or a co-packer but would it still make it special? We want to keep that home baked taste in every bite.
